CS:GO now F2P, also adding in battle-royale

Maybe everybody where you live is cheating for some reason, but CSGO is where I've encountered literally 3 hackers in all my time playing ranked and casual. I'm calling bullshit on your claim that hackers just run the CSGO community.

ive played csgo for 91 hours, never discovered a hacker and deleted it as soon as the new HUD dropped

lets not talk about hackers, this is about it turning F2P like TF2 and getting the all so "gOoD" battle royale mode

I know you have, and you haven't been complaining about the mode itself.

I quite enjoy it atm, I mostly played gmod battle royale because the limits of source meant it'd be smaller scale. which csgo does bring over well (although seems they may have edited their engine to make bigger maps than before)
everything is faster as well, which helps.

Theme wise, I like that the death zone is not just a doom bubble, you can actually see the oil rig in the skybox that is firing missiles to obliterate the map as it goes.

Honestly, I prefer a Battle Royale mode over Deathmatch because as a long time CS player, I've always preferred the one-life per round sort of playstyle and deathmatch ruined all of that. If you don't like Battle Royale, you don't have to play it, which I'm not sure if I will or not unless my friends want to. We all love counter-strike, and I think that the source engine with a BR wouldn't be as bad as Cuisine Royale, or Totally PUBG, or all these other BR variants.

In terms of it going F2P, I don't really care. The Counter-Strike playerbase will always be there, and it'll always be growing.

that's because the Russian and poles get put in the Stockholm server, so you're not wrong lol

I didn't say cheaters run the community, but valves anti cheat has always been a joke and unless they introduce something with this patch I'm afraid it's just gonna go down hill

there's prime matchmaking exclusive to people who pay and link their phone numbers etc. I doubt the hacking amount in competitive will change much. And some variety that doesn't take away from anyone unconcerned with it isn't in my opinion a bad thing.

Yeah mine refuses to anything despite what I do, I just get put into a match and then get booted during loading screen

I managed to get in a game and it felt meh, never liked battle royale but this one at least tries to be somewhat original

Valve is an oldman trying to attract new kids by making a CSGO and putting a Battle Royale into it, and then putting a bunch of keys that cost money and all that crap.
