Ammo is meant to be scarce, not making it a common thing.
This is something that I never got, and NO one in the playerbase understands.
yes, I completely understand the intention and the dynamic you’re creating. But this whole ‘lack of ammo’ ordeal doesn’t work for several reasons.
There’s issues with limiting people’s inventory slot, AND making ammo exceedingly rare, AND inadvertently NPCs hit registration is god awful as they fly and jitter around and making you spend more then what’s necessary to deal with them.
And the fact for the ammo of PVP instead of PVE, it’s completely one sided as characters with armor are bullet sponges, taking half a mag of an mp7 and that of a USP-M to drop dead, it’s no surprise more rebels have guns than rounds, and that’s union forces can completely circumvent this and outpace the forces against them with round spam and mag dumps with also, no repercussions on their deaths.
Adding to the fact that outside of these events theres hardly anyway to get ammo, other then the blue moon chance you find casings, primers, gunpowder and an amp box that you probably erased from your conts as it takes inventory space unnecessarily, well... I digress.
This metro-tier ammo system might seem good, and hell it might invoke people to s2k less without ammo, maybe these are your intentions and I think they’re honestly good efforts.
But these just cause undue and unnecessary complications on the enjoyment of the event, and for the most part portraying a rebel seriously in this timeline at all.
I hope you have a nice mothers day, Blackquill, I can’t rant post as I’m with my grandmother and I’m having a good time. I hope you see my ammo criticisms validly and take them to account that I voice more then myself in these instances, I feel the struggle of many rebels who aren’t as fortunate to been blessed with ammo intuition.
