Played as the tutorial to play as good old MurCHAD of Munster to see what I could get up to on noob island

Managed to create Ireland within his lifetime through bloody conquest and being slightly dreadful.

Also getting cured of the bubonic plague because my court physician can apparently cure the deadliest disease of the middle ages but has no idea what gout is.

Overall I'd say the game is pretty good big thumby uppy from me

i havent tried it yet but i assume you can play as a doge

and since muslims are on the map yeah you can probably play as muslims

also its far more friendly than ck2
for starters you dont have to spend 2 hours looking for a spouse, the game will just recommend the best picks to you if you're looking for good genetic traits, etc

Good old crusader kings where you will have a legendary King, to then die to a shit son who will INEVITABLY start a civil war due to his sheer incompetence in those 10-20 years you are not controlling him, can't ask for better in medieval europe

some fuck got half my vassals in a faction to take over my kingdom

i barely managed to eek out a win and they all immediately called for ransoms expecting me to take the money and let them do it all again

i laugh at the look on their faces when i executed them all, 3 family members included, and watched my dread shoot straight to 100

every faction was cleared out by the end of the month
