Spoiler: Complete Spoiler Of Side Mission: They Won't Go When I Go

Started off with a mission to help a husband kill his wives murderer

Murderer was being escorted by cops, husband tries to dome him, cop blasts him

Turns out this guy killed more than just one girl, and one of his victims sisters got in touch with him whilst he was in prison (for 15 years), leading the guy to do a complete 180 and seek out god, rare for night city apparently. Sister basically forgives him, mother doesn't.

Guy was being escorted by a Corp who works for a brain dance company, they want to get his willing death (he believes it to be a redemption) on brain dance to sell off which will make billions cause of his loyalty and stride for god or something. Corpo realises he's becoming unwilling cause of me, and wants me to cut it out.

Say nah, we go to a cheesecake place instead (Which got bought up by having 7 cool after ignoring the guys mental break down in the back of the van). Girl gets annoyed, we depart

Get a call from her a bit later, that the prisoner is starting to be unwilling and needs my help. I get sent to the studio, where a protest is outside against the brutality of using his death for a brain dance.

I meet him in his changing room, talk to him, make honestly hardest decision of gaming for at least a couple years and get him to go through with it, but not in the way the Corps want, to die in pride

He asks me to pray with him, I do.

He asks me to do it. I do.

He asks for me to do a speech as I nail him to the cross, and he does one back. I stay with him until he passes.

Honestly, great side mission, super surreal, favourite one so far. Diverted expectations, thought the murderer was a loonie at first who would kill someone the moment he left my sight. I hated him at first but within 20 minutes I slowly opened up and sentencing him to his death was incredibly hard for me to do so, I regret doing it, I wish he was still running around, but god damn I loved the mission.

im like @Chezburger though dont care if i get lower fps on singleplayer games, if it's 40 or above im typically good

some junk can be in the thousands and if you buy scrapper itll just disassemble it on the dot, despite it being a lot more worthy than abit of junk

I don't want to be a doomer but honestly pretty disappointed with the game in general. I can see why they delayed it the first few times but it seriously seems like they should have delayed it again. For like a year

This game is seriously terribly optimized, the AI for cops and pedestrians is slightly worse than the AI in GTA 4, and the number of bugs in the game is really concerning. I'm sure that the game would be far more enjoyable if it were polished and hope that the developers aren't having mental breakdowns after developing the game for 7 years

if you went into it with high expectations then, like any other game, there's going to be disappointments

me personally, i didnt go into it with any expectations or knowledge of what promises had been made for the game, so i very much see it at face value and i intend to keep it that way; i saw this reddit page, a list of features that were meant to be in from day-dot, and i just ignored it because i didnt really want to know

Bro literally i haven't had any gamebreaking bugs or glitches or anything that is ruining the game for me, it's been an incredibly solid experience so far. All I've had is the odd mouth not moving here and there, one instance of a floating bottle, and one time vaulting over a wall into an incredibly tight spot killed me, but that was during free-roam so it's chill.

I feel as if the story is good, it's relatively easy to follow with certain moments that make you on the edge of your seat. I like the Fallout style of having alternate dialogue options based on your skill proficiency. Admittedly the start is a little slow, I can see where @Yurrie is coming from because when you're at the start there's a lot of cutscenes and driving-on-rails type gameplay. But once you're clear from this it definitely picks up.

Gunplay can be a little sloppy at times, with melee definitely seeming like it's the way to go. I'm making my character a baseball bat wielding street scumbag based on this. Don't get me wrong, guns are solid at times, but I personally don't find it enjoyable to magdump a guy only to get two shot by him when he gets up.

All in all, I'm happy with the experience! It's the first time in a while I've actually bought a brand new game and been happy!
