Half-Life Alyx is confirmed to release on March 23rd

In addition to the announcement, we got a few new screenshots

And for people who got the Index when the game was announced, such as myself and @Hudson
Pre-order bonuses are kicking off on March 2nd, with SteamVR home environments, CSGO content will likely come after.​

These 3 images have literally given us a new xenian creature (pic 3, in the middle behind the bucket ontop of the barrel. Headcrab/Mini Gonarch)

a pulse minigun (1st pic, OTA in the back to the right) or a heavy repeater. Looks twin barrel)

and a new 'biome' based on Xen along with something sprouting out of the ground which shares some features with that new Xen creature

HL2 was originally going to have large areas of sewers/slums where xen flora/fauna took over and the Combine just didn't bother with unless they had to, but this got cut along with a lot of the HL1 Xenian wildlife in-game. I figure we're still sort of at that point as of Alyx.
