Feedback from one of the people in the event!

As the CAB member present, I liked the fact that I [and my brave escort @pilotbland] were delegated tasks too in what seemed to be a primarily CP/Workers type event. We were tasked with compilling a report/investigation on the matter, something which I will eventually get to write tomorrow as a little IC-document esque type of thing.

The firefights were smooth, the transitioning between scene-to-scene was done in a realistic manner and the staff were really helpful in providing descriptions about things we inspected occasionally. The feeling of uncertainty really added on to the suspense and adrenaline of the entire event. I interracted with UM and Cops alike in what seemed to be improvised scenes of roleplay that really gave everyone a unique feeling, immersing them in the situation.

Overall; well executed, interesting plot; I hope to see more of this involving CAB in the future and I'd be delighted to partake again!

I am very glad civil protection got a part of the event dedicated to them to do a little task halfway though, main server events of the past usually always failed in that department where CPS are left with nothing to do as CAB takes over any and all involvement in any sort of questline on the union side. I'm happy that is not the case this time around and they got in on something instead of just waiting around with nothing to do until the final and wish to see more of this type of stuff in the future.

:Edit: Also sky tried to pad his tracker by killing pigeons and antlion Chars, shame him.

Four years ago we did an event where @Twar was told not to fire the APC rockets in the canals.

He proceeded to blow up a bunch of cops and drove himself off the ledge while panicking.

The canals are cursed.

i was kind of just half-afk on my dispatch character and i tab back in to see TAC spammed with cops going 'FUCK THE CHOPPER'S GONE ROGUE'. didn't think many of the 14 cops would be returning until it was announced it was a mere mistake

Honestly then? I'd say this event went well, obviously not counting whatever happens tommorow as it isn't here yet.

Yeah it wasn't some massive hectic map swap but people enjoyed the events that were ran and folks seemed to have a good time and that to me is far better than trying to max out the server every time.

day 1: CAB did some CAB shit

day 2: a senator scheduled to arrive in the city had their convoy ambushed in the canals by rebels. the senator was kidnapped

day 3: cops, UM and a CWU and a senator went out to look for the aforementioned senator, they met an illegal security force on the way and decimated them. didnt find the senator but did find some clues about what went down

day 4: nothing happened

day 5: today

not much citizen involvement overall, but i'm guessing that will change tonight
