Dev went on to say that "Don't bang your head into a wall just yet ... bla bla bla ... You will not be disappointed"

It still suspect it's a rust clone with a battle royale, they seem too vague and looks like they're trying to specify the game is not what the playerbase suspect it to be yet they haven't completely denied it is either.

It's not a battle royale or a rust CLONE. It is said to be something akin to rust / ark / etc but still something you'd expext from a BGS game.

Also, another guy behind a leak said that fans of F:NV will love this game as well.

I actually like the idea of drop-in coop similar to Far Cry 5 where you can get a couple friends together and go on some missions as long as the experience is still wholesome in single player.
