Just finished this. Tasted amazing, meat was perfectly cooked and not overdone

Best of all it didn't fall apart in my hands

barramundi fillet double-coated with the usual flour-egg-panko mixture (flour, egg, panko, egg, panko); i've discovered that it is 100% worth doing as it makes the crumbs adhere to the fish ten times better and actually gives a subtle texture change as well. I WOULDNT do it on thin fish fillets though because u might end up with a lot of crumb but not much fish.

aged (not dry aged) beef bone-in sirloin cooked to medium rare, nothing really special about this one; salt, pepper & garlic for seasoning + garlic butter for basting throughout the charcoal cook

it was nice but honestly i expected more for the 41 dollarydoos i paid for it; granted, it was a very tender cut especially considering i didnt use any special method to cook it

that is all for now.

lil thing with some spare chicken i had

chicken was sliced into like 3/4 inch thick strips, seasoned with cajun seasoning

panko breadcrumbs were seasoned with all-purpose (pepper-based) seasoning and all the chicken was given the typical flour/egg/crumb treatment, single layer

it was then shallow fried with canola oil and then drained with paper towel thoroughly

end result was tender chicken, crunchy panko and a sort of KFC chicken tender-esque taste just without as much oil present in it

t'was also served with partway sautéed onion; partway so that it still retained some texture while also having the sweetness to them. odd side i know but don't knock it till u try it

buttery prawns with garlic bread

prawns:
  • normal pre-cooked cold prawns
  • unsalted butter
  • parsley
  • lemon-pepper seasoning
garlic bread:
  • thick-cut white bread
  • equal parts unsalted butter and minced garlic
  • parsley
v quick and easy lunch

I don't usually make burgers, but today I made some Green style burgers by replacing the usually super sweet bun with just romaine lettuce! The inside is a normal hambuger, canadian bacon, mushrooms, onions, and tomatoes!

They were honestly surprisingly good! I'm on a diet and although this isn't really diet food I've made the calories lost anyways for the day, honestly I 100% recomend switching the bun for the lettuce!

Green style burgers are incredible! I found this recipee at my local College and it honestly surprised me a lot, I 100% suggest you try it (If you like lettuce)

as far as BBQ sauce goes its one of the better ones, garlic and pepper and tomato and nothing that ruins or overpowers a meal, probably great with your fries but I still wouldn't use BBQ sauce for meat personally i just don't like it

they have a sweet version im gonna use as a glaze on pork chops.

i cook my steak rare and eat with moroccan seasoning and siracha its bomb
