They're op just from the fact you're literally a giant armored shadowling. But the core itself is near impossible to find. Most of the time it can be swarmed with goliaths, hive lords and everything.

it's not like goliaths and hive lords are hard to kill..

Well not really but the miners are restricted from using real weaponry only the gear they can get from their token redeemer and only a Ridley with standard mining equipment.

Not to mention the area is so packed with them you'll get swarmed when you get close.
